A full body session typically takes 2-3 hours depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and the service booked. Hand stripping may take up to 4 hours for larger breeds. We never rush - your dog gets as much time as they need.
Most breeds do best with a visit every 4-6 weeks. Dogs with longer or curly coats may need appointments every 3-4 weeks, while short-haired breeds can go 6-8 weeks between sessions. We'll recommend a schedule based on your dog's specific coat type.
Just your dog! We provide all shampoos, conditioners, towels, and tools. If your dog takes medication or has allergies, let us know when booking. A favorite toy can help nervous first-timers feel at ease.
Yes, our team has extensive experience with nervous and reactive dogs. We use gentle handling techniques and adjust our pace to each dog's comfort level. Please mention your dog's temperament when booking so we can prepare accordingly.
The full body service (from €45) includes a bath with premium shampoo, blow-dry, complete haircut and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, paw care, and sanitary trimming. We finish with a thorough brush-out and an optional cologne spritz.
We generally recommend that owners wait outside - dogs tend to behave better and stay calmer without their owner present. That said, we make exceptions for very anxious pets or first-time visits. Just let us know your preference.
Hand stripping is a specialized technique for wire-haired breeds like Terriers, Schnauzers, and some Spaniels. Instead of clipping, dead coat is removed by hand to preserve the natural texture, color, and weather resistance. It's the gold standard for maintaining a proper wire coat.
Get your dog used to having their paws, ears, and mouth handled at home. Make sure vaccinations are up to date and try to arrive with a clean, dry coat. A good morning walk beforehand helps - a tired dog is usually a cooperative dog!
